What does VIDA look like?
Your discipleship experience will include three months of intensive discipleship in Guatemala, followed by nine months of weekly online mentorship back home
While in Guatemala, you will
- deepen your relationship with Christ through weekly rhythms and systematic & intensive Bible reading
- explore your strengths, abilities and calling through a variety of assessment tools such as spiritual gift surveys & personality tests
- learn Spanish to better communicate with those around you
- experience the power of worship in local churches and schools
- practice and apply lessons learned by engaging in local churches, serving in Vida Schools, and participating in outreach opportunities in the local community
Life in a developing country in a developing program is nothing less than unpredictable! You will have ample opportunity to test God amidst the challenges of real life and discover firsthand that He is ALWAYS enough!
Back Home, you will
- continue your intentional discipleship journey via weekly online meetings
- participate in continued mentorship with your mentors

What will it cost me?
Time: This is a one-year discipleship journey, involving 3 months full-time in Guatemala and 9 months of continued weekly discipleship when you return home
Finances: The program is $2800 plus your transportation to Guatemala
Personal Space: The VIDA Discipleship Program involves intentional community living – this comes with its own challenges, including yielding your personal space
Comfort: Living in a developing country comes with hardships and frustrations you may not be familiar with – prepare to be moved out of your comfort zone
