If you’re not a teacher, you may never have thought about the value of a good school curriculum. But if you’ve ever taught, you know exactly why a good curriculum is so important. Especially in Guatemala, where there are few resources available, and even less for a quality Christ-centered education.
Our Vida Schools have long dreamt of having a curriculum that reflects Christ’s love in every element of what is being taught. And a few years ago, you made it possible for Impact Ministries to begin developing their own Vida Schools curriculum. Here’s Vida Schools Academic Director David Chitay and the Curriculum Development Team to tell you what’s been happening since then:
We’re so excited to share that the new Vida Schools curriculum has been launched throughout the Early Elementary grades: Pre-kinder, Kindergarten, and Grade 1. Our teachers love using it and it’s providing an improved learning experience for our students!
The Curriculum Development Team is already diligently working on the Grade 2 Curriculum as they work toward the dream of developing curriculum for every grade that Vida Schools teach!
