What makes sponsoring a class so special? Besides having a direct impact on the lives of a whole class of kids and their teacher, sponsoring a class means that you’re part of a sponsorship cluster. And that means you’re all loving on and supporting these kids together 💙
“I’m not good at building connections,” says one of our class sponsors. Sponsorship clusters are why she decided to sponsor a class rather than a child: “I know that I’m sharing the class with 9 other people. I’m hoping some of them are good at connections.” And that’s totally legit!
Other class sponsors have intentionally decided to join a sponsorship cluster with friends and family members so that they can take turns visiting and writing and share updates with each other. It makes them feel more connected to their class – and to each other!
We’ve also had churches sponsor classes as a way to intentionally involve their congregations – and kids – in world missions. “This is a beautiful way for our church to be connected to Impact Ministries and for our children’s classrooms to be connected to a classroom in another part of the world,” shares the Missions Coordinator at one of those churches. We 💙that!
Whatever the reason that you’re sponsoring a class, know that your sponsorship is showing Christ’s love in a tangible way to the kids in your class 💙
